Our mission is to help youth make right decisions.  In Alabama, the proficiency rates for high school students in math and reading were only 66% and 53%; however, 93% of students have had experience with alcohol, and 67% have tried illicit drugs.  Substance abuse causes 93.75% of the dropout rate among high school students. (www.edu.gov   www.whitehousedrugpolicy.gov) Every 2.5 minutes an adolescent is arrested for being involved in a drug or alcohol related crime. Every day in America 1,000 youth begin drinking alcohol and 500 begin taking drugs, something must be done to help our youth! 'Youth Talk' was formed to help curb this need among today's youth by offering solutions to the substance abuse epidemic plaguing our society.

Eric Crews is the Director of Education & Outreach at the "Bridge Inc." The "Bridge Inc." is a in house treatment center helping those struggling with addiction.  He has seen first hand the effects of addiction.  etc..etc....
